Since there are requests for Lightwave 3D objects, announcing
LIGHT-ROM, the CD ROM for Lightwave users! LIGHT-ROM is a multiplatform
CD ROM readable on ANY platform. LIGHT-ROM is ready for the PC, SGI &
Windows NT versions of Lightwave 3D and contains a collection of;
1) Lightwave objects, scene files, surface attributes, etc.,
2) GEO objects (old Videoscape format which directly loads into Lightwave),
3) Sculpt 3D objects, which load into Lightwave through the TIO converters,
4) Textures, images & bump maps in IFF, JPeg & Targa formats,
5) DEMs(Digital Elevation Maps) for use in VistaPro,Scenery Animator or for
use in Interchange Plus 3.0 to create 3D Lightwave landscapes,
6) Old style Toaster CG fonts,
7) Includes a bonus collection of 100 megs of Imagine objects & text files,
8) All Lightwave objects, textures, images & bump maps include thumbnail
renderings to save you the trouble of loading/rendering to preview,
9) Exclusive "Showcase" directory featuring the works of Lightwave
artists from around the world. The Showcase directory can be the
Lightwave artists' path to greater exposure to potential
employers as well as to other artists.
Accepted contribution to the Showcase directory will receive a free copy
of LIGHT-ROM.
LIGHT-ROM will be updated every 6 months.
